We absolutely loved it.   GoodPlace’s organizational... read more efforts, communication, attention to detail, gps routes, accommodations, transportation and more were excellent.   With GoodPlace doing all the logistical work, we were able focus on the thing we enjoy most; cycling in a new, magnificent, eclectic and challenging place.  The Epic Tour was all of that. We received an hour-long Zoom call in advance of the tour to walk us through the details of each day and what to expect. This was something no other tour organization has ever done for us and it was exceedingly helpful (be sure to take good notes and bring them with you😊). GoodPlace even customized our tour. Rather than start in Arnoldstein, Austria, we wanted to start in Bled, a picturesque town We’ve always wanted to visit. GoodPlace readily made the necessary changes by editing the gps route and having the rental bikes delivered to our Bled guest house. We have done lots of traveling over the years and Slovenia is the most beautiful place we’ve ever been.  We plan to return.

  My friend and I recently did the self-guided 8 day (6 of them cycling) tour of the Adriatic Coast and Istria Peninsula. We hired ebikes and they and the... read more other equipment, panniers etc were of a very high quality. The organization of the tour was first class. Matic and Katja were knowledgeable and helpful and if there was an issue they responded and sorted things very quickly. The route planning, hotels and food were great. We highly recommend Visit Good Place. We recommend that rather than go through another travel agency you contact them directly. Their English is excellent.

They gave us great information and advice, and also offered us top level support during the tour. Already on the first day we discovered that Slovenia is extremely beautiful. We loved the views of the mountains, valleys, rivers, vinyards and the sea! It was a real joy cycling on the paths far away from the main roads. Also the food in our hotels was delicious and mostly home-made. The bikes we rented from Visit Goodplace were in perfected condition, probably brand new. I hope to come back next year and make another tour. Thank you! …

La première partie de la journée était consacrée à une balade en forêt pour repérer les traces d'ours et autres animaux, puis en fin de journée, nous avons rejoint une cabane d'observation pour attendre la venue des ours. Nous y sommes restés 3 heures et avons vu 3 ours ainsi que quelques chevreuils.
Excellente journée. Dommage que l'observation des ours ne commence pas plus tôt car la lumière était un peu faible.

She is the most knowledgable, switched-on and fun guide that I can imagine, and I have been a... read more tour operator myself. The countryside was beautiful and full of animal sign - we did see wolf and bear prints in the mud - and we heard all sorts of owls and roe and red dear engaged in rutting behavior. The European virgin forest was fabulous. Petra went all out to make sure I and our party of four others had a top notch experience. This trip (more like a wilderness adventure) has my wholehearted recommendation.
